Pastor Abel Damina, the Founder and President of Abel Damina Ministries, is at the center of growing controversy within Nigeria’s religious circles.
Known for his bold sermons and strong criticism of traditional biblical interpretations, Pastor Damina has recently focused his efforts on condemning what he views as false teachings and staged miracles by prominent Nigerian pastors.

Leading the charge against Pastor Damina is Apostle Kassy Chukwu, the head of Peniel Global Ministries. In a viral video, Apostle Kassy accused Damina of engaging in an affair with, and impregnating, another man’s wife. He also claimed that Damina, who has criticized others for faking miracles, is guilty of the same deception.
Adding to the controversy, Prophet E.S. Okenna, the General Overseer of Christ the Life Bible International Church, delivered a fiery sermon in which he echoed the accusations of sexual misconduct. Prophet Okenna further alleged that Damina, who once showed great promise in his ministry, has squandered his potential and fallen behind his peers, such as Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church Worldwide.
Prophet Okenna went on to mock Pastor Damina for his perceived shortcomings, suggesting that despite his years in ministry, he has been surpassed by others who started after him.
