Nigerian Gospel singer, Moses Bliss, and his Ghanaian fiance, Marie Wiseborn, had their much anticipated traditional marriage with the hashtags #Foreverbliss, #MMBliss24, #Foreverbliss24.

The traditional wedding ceremony, acclaimed to be a fusion of Nigerian and Ghanaian cultures held at the Underbridge, East Legon, in Ghana on Thursday .

The wedding incorporated cultures from both Nigerian and Ghanaian, including the Ghanaian “knocking” ceremony, where the groom’s family formally requests the bride’s hand in marriage.

It was a celebration that knitted together the rich blend of Nigerian and Ghanaian traditions, as the ceremony was thronged with the vibrant shades of traditional Ghanaian attire and Southern Nigeria outfits.

The couple’s attire and that of their families was a harmonious blend of Ghana’s colorful ‘kente cloth’ and Nigeria’s regal ‘aso-oke’ fabric and George material.

Marie, a lawyer, looked elegant as she changed into three different attires for her wedding.

She also wore her signature natural hairstyle packed neatly at the top of her head while also using little to no makeup.

Moses wore a traditional attire including a hat, George wrapper and a long white shirt with a long neck scarf unique to men from the South-South.

Highpoint of the ceremony was the grand entrance of the bride in the popular ‘Adowa Dance’ with her bridesmaids, alongside other traditional dancers.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the couple, who announced their engagement earlier this year, had their civil wedding in Abuja, on February 27.

Marie is a UK-based Lawyer and a pastor’s daughter.

Celebrities spotted at the wedding include Juliet Ibrahim, Dr. Rommel, Veekee James and hubby, Femi Atere, Real Warri Pikin, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Layole Oyatogun and Pastor Nikki Okedele. (NAN)
