Good morning Nigeria, welcome to the Editor roundup of top newspaper headlines in Nigeria for today, Monday, 7th August 2023.

According to Shaibu, Atiku’s suit against Tinubu is marked No. 23-5099 (N. D. III.). He said the filing of the fresh suit was why Atiku withdrew an existing case before a Circuit Court in Illinois.

3. The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, says it will deploy 11,355 Bimodal Voter Accreditation System machines for voter accreditation in the November 11 governorship elections in Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo States. 5. A female soldier enforcing the curfew imposed by the Adamawa government has killed a senior colleague at a checkpoint in Yola, the State capital. Governor Ahmadu Fintiri had imposed the curfew after hoodlums broke into a government warehouse and looted several items, including palliatives meant to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal.

6. The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has said the time is ripe for Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso to join the ruling party.
