Popular Nigerian actress, Tontoh Dikeh has said that she doesn’t attend burials and she doesn’t have a plan to attend any. The mother of one made it known that she had never attended a burial since she was a child.

Tonto, who is currently mourning the loss of  her mother, has also said that she will not entertain donations from anyone towards her mother’s burial, stating further that all she needs are prayers for her and her family.

She also added that her mother’s burial will be the first one she will attend as she also informed her friends and family that she’s not putting them under any form of pressure to attend the burial because she would probably not be able to repay the favour.

In a post doing the rounds on Instagram,  the actress gave her opinion about burials and why she doesn’t attend them.

“ I have never attended any burial before. I will never attend any too. I said this when I was a child and I stick by it. My mum’s burial will/might be my first ever,to all my friends who think I’m shutting them out.My reason is I don’t attend burials, if i let you attend my mum’s I will owe you the same favour and I can’t repay that. If you love me,pray for my family. If you intend to support me, only pray for me.
