Xiaomi renews its entry range with Redmi 10

Xiaomi renewed its entry range with the new Redmi 10. A smartphone that represents a qualitative leap in the most economical range of the Asian manufacturer. For the first time in this range, Xiaomi incorporates a high resolution sensor with 50MP, double speaker and a screen with 90Hz refresh rate.

This is one of the great redesigns of Xiaomi that seeks to unify its terminals and therefore this new smartphone resembles its older brothers in the Redmi Note 10 series. Like these terminals, the Redmi 10 has rounded corners and a module camera very similar, Xiaomi wants its economic range of a qualitative leap.

If we sit down to talk about hardware and features, the Redmi 10 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with FullHD + resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, which makes it ideal for more fluid videos and games.

In the back of the Redmi 10 we will find 4 cameras, the main one of 50 MP, one more than 8 MP and two more than 2 MP each. The Xiaomi Redmi 10 selfie camera will have an 8 MP sensor.

The 5000 mAh battery tells us about a smartphone that has a great autonomy, since together with the screen under the 45 Hz mode it will give you more than enough for the day of use.

In addition, it incorporates 18 W fast charging and 9 W reverse charging. An additional Xiaomi detail is that the Redmi 10 comes with a 22.5 W charger included.

The software is the MIUI 12.5 version that is based on Android 11 and which runs very smoothly on the terminal.

A powerful processor in Redmi 10

All these features depend on the processor of the Redmi 10, this time the manufacturer decided on the SoC Helio G88 from Mediatek, a 2.0 Ghz processor that provides enough power to allow the phone to perform all its tasks without problem. The Helio G88 is complemented by a configuration of 4 or 8GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of storage.

One of Xiaomi’s great successes was the integration of a fingerprint sensor in the Redmi 10, a feature that is not so common in mid-range entry models but that thanks to the power of the G88 can be implemented without raising the final price of the device.

Being an entry phone to the mid-range, the Redmi 10 does not have connectivity to 5G networks, however, the accumulation of features that it incorporates makes it the ideal phone for users who do not use a smartphone as intensively.

Without a doubt, this bet by Xiaomi to reinvent the Redmi will play in favor and will place this smartphone among the spoiled ones of the a Xiaomi consumer.
