One of Nigeria’s airlines, Max Air Nigeria, on Saturday left hundreds of passengers stranded at lagos MM2 Airport for over five hours without any explanations or apologies.
Many of the passengers slept on chairs and the floor of the airport as the ground staff and officials of the regulatory bodies – FAAN and NCAA – abandoned the passengers.
The flight on Saturday 21st August 2021 which was first scheduled for 5.20pm was moved to 7.50pm and three times later up to 11.45pm when the air line stopped any public announcements of movements.
As at 1.30am, the passengers were still at the airport unattended. With the curfew imposed in Lagos, many of the passengers could not leave the airport.
