Kunle Agboola, a Nigerian actor and record label executive, is dead . Lanre Agboola signed a statement on behalf of the family announcing the death of Kunle Agboola.
Kunle, 53, was the producer of Idan Irawo, a famous Yoruba show. On DSTV, the Nollywood-themed show aired for numerous years.
He worked with music legends such as Daddy Showkey, Tope Alabi, and Sunny Neji, among others, to create and master tracks.
Kunle had been battling renal illness for a long time before passing away in the NYU Langone Hospital’s intensive care unit in Brooklyn, New York.
The dead was the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s (RCCG) ICB Parish in Brooklyn’s Sound Engineer and Media Officer. He leaves behind elderly parents, a wife, children, and siblings.
The funeral arrangements will be announced as soon as possible by the family.
