Kunle Afolayan Celebrates As Brother Becomes A Professor

Dr Adesina Afolayan, brother of filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has been elevated to the rank of a professor, theeditorng.com reports.

Kunle, 46, shared the good news on Instagram on Thursday.

According to Kunle, Dr Afolayan lectures Philosophy at the University of Ibadan.

“I am so happy and grateful to God. My brother Dr Adesina Afolayan who lectures Philosophy at the University of Ibadan was confirmed a Professor yesterday.

“Professor Adesina Afolayan and I are of same mama and Baba and his son Tooni played Ponmile in my film ‘Mokalik,’” he wrote.

Students of Afolayan have congratulated him in the comment section of Kunle’s post.

@yusuff_akinola said, “Wow. Congrats to Professor Afolayan. ��He once taught me at the University of Ibadan. Well deserved.”

“I could remember vividly when he adopted me as his school daughter back in the days university of ado Ekiti. He lectures philosophy.God bless you sir congratulations,” @iam_oluwafirewamiri wrote.

Kunle has other siblings Moji, Aremu and Gabriel who are in the entertainment industry as him.
