The state government in a statement released through the commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, noted that Apostle Bako and the wife were released from the kidnappers’ den on Sunday.
The statement was titled, ‘Apostle Bako, wife regain freedom.’
Aruwan noted that the development was also confirmed by the Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in Kaduna State, Rev. Tony Inwulale.
The commissioner further stated that the state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has expressed relief and happiness over the development and offered his best wishes to the cleric and his wife.
