Former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has officially relocated from the United Kingdom to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates
The 36-year-old revealed the move through official documents for his business empire, valued at around £150 million, listing the UAE as his country of residence.

Born in Watford to Nigerian parents, Joshua gained international recognition after winning Olympic gold for Great Britain in 2012 and later becoming a two-time unified heavyweight world champion.
The relocation comes months after a tragic car accident on December 29, 2025, on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, in which Joshua survived but lost two close team members, personal trainer Latif “Latz” Ayodele and strength coach Sina Ghami.
Dubai continues to attract wealthy athletes and celebrities, in part due to its zero personal income tax, offering significant financial incentives for high-earning sports stars.
Joshua’s businesses, including Sparta Promotions, have posted strong profits, and moving residency to the UAE allows him to avoid UK taxes on millions in dividends.
