Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo has called on people to be wary of persons they allow to lay hands on their heads in the name of prayers.

He stated this in a tweet on his official Twitter handle on Friday evening.

Dakolo further advised everyone not to allow such to happen to their children if they had been careless in the past.

The singer did not, however, state what informed his advice.

He wrote, “It is extremely important that you don’t let any and everybody lay their hand on your head in the name of prayers.

“If you have been careless in the past, make sure it doesn’t happen to your children.”

It is extremely important that you don’t let any and everybody lay their hand on your head in the name of prayers. If you have been careless in the past, make sure it doesn’t happen to your children.”

Timi Dakolo had earlier clearly stated that indeed people can be really famous and still be broke.

The award-winning artiste made this known in a tweet that read, ” You can be really famous, I mean really really famous and still be broke.”

Dakolo, who is known for sharing insightful and motivational posts on his social media pages had recently advised beginners to give themselves time to grow.

The singer tweeted this on his page when he noted that one’s beginnings should not be compared to another person’s experience.

“Just so you know. Nobody started really really good. We learnt on the job. Your beginnings shouldn’t be compared to someone’s 10 years of experience. That’s so unfair to what you are building. Give yourself time to grow,” the tweet read
