Captain Hosa Okunbo burial for Friday, October 8 in Benin

 

 

 

Night of Tributes for employees and Royal Groups will be held on Tuesday, October 5 at 3 p.m., and a day of tributes from close friends and family will be held on Wednesday, October 6 at 38b Aiguobasimwin Crescent, GRA, Benin City.

 

The family, while expressing gratitude for all sympathizers, shared some critical information concerning Captain Hosa Okunbo’s burial arrangements a few days ago, according to Editor Nigeria sources They wrote: “He lives on in our minds and will be buried in Benin City, the Edo State Capital.”

Meanwhile, according to information obtained by Editor Nigeria, the retired commercial airline captain will be buried in Benin City on Friday, October 8, following a four-day series of festivities culminating in a burial service at Nigerian Airforce Base beside Prestige Hotel, Airport Road.

Captain Hosa burial details

The late Captain’s service of songs will be held on Thursday, October 7th, 2021 at 38b Aiguobasimwin Crescent, GRA, Benin City.

Captain Hosa Okunbo Wells, the founder of Ocean Marin Solutions Limited, a Nigerian offshore asset security business, died at the age of 63. He is also the father-in-law of the present Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.

Captain Hosa, as he is affectionately called, traveled to London last year when his health began to decline, according to Editor Nigeria.

According to family sources who spoke to this newspaper, the former commercial pilot who later got into business was supposedly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Following treatments in London and Germany, Captain Hosa’s health had greatly improved.

“His death did not surprise us as a family,” a family source told Editor Nigeria in Lagos, “given that doctors had informed him he only had a year to live due to the severity of his illness.”

When Hosa died in London, he was surrounded by close family members.

His widow, Nosa, and 11 children survive him.
