Senator Shehu Sani has shared the video of the alleged Olympic kits for Nigerian on his Facebook timeline following the shameful viral video that sees Nigerian athlete,Enekwechi washing his jersey in Tokyo.
In the video, Sani said PUMA donated the $2.7 million kits freely to Nigeria and offered to financially reward our medal winning athletes but Nigerian officials rejected them and preferred to use public funds to purchase from other sources.
Recall that the Editor Nigeria had reported how a Nigerian athlete shared a video of him washing his jersey from Tokyo Olympics.
The Editor Nigeria learnt Nigerian athletes were only given one set of jersey in the on-going Tokyo Olympics because of administrative lapses.
