Tragedy As Gunmen Abduct Dozens Of Students At Kankara Secondary School, Katsina

Fears as Gunmen abduct Secondary School Students In Katsina.

Theeditorngr.com has learned that a large number of students from a science secondary school in Kankara Local Government Area of ​​Katsina State have been abducted by gunmen.

According to HumAngle, gunmen stormed the dormitory and abducted them early Saturday morning.
HumAngle disclosed via its Twitter handle that the number of abducted students is being counted.

“Armed men stormed Government Science Secondary School in Kankara LGA, Katsina State, northwest Nigeria, and kidnapped dozens of students from their dormitories early today. A missing persons count is currently in progress.”

Katsina, President Muhammadu Buhari‘s home state is one of the states most attacked by bandits in northwestern Nigeria.
Bandits continue to carry out attacks in parts of the state despite the large number of security forces deployed and various exercises launched in the area.
In the past, Katsina State.

Governor Aminu Bello Masari has negotiated with the bandits for peace.
However, the compromise has not worked, as the bandits continued to carry out attacks with indiscriminate killings and looting of their property.

This is the first time that gunmen have reportedly entered a boarding school and abducted dozens of students in Katsina State.
