Tinubu’s Victory: Charly Boy Speaks On Ongoing Protest, Reveals Next Action

Veteran Nigerian entertainer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has applauded youths for the ongoing peaceful protest in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The Editor Nigeria reports that since the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, announced the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, as the winner of the February 25, election, many youths have continued to express their grievances over the outcome of the election.
Many Nigerian youths on daily basis stormed the streets of Abuja and the INEC office demanding a return of their mandate, claiming that the electoral umpire did not follow its guidelines for the election.
In a post via Instagram, Charly Boy commended the peaceful protest, saying his health challenge has not allowed him to join the youths.
The entertainer promised to join the protesters next week which he described as the ‘mother of all rallies’ in Abuja.
He wrote: “Courageous Youths, I appreciate you all for the peaceful way you’ve conducted yourselves in the Abuja ongoing rally so far.
“But for my medical challenge I would have been with you all.
“However, am recovering quickly and hopefully by next week I should be joining you all for the mother of all rallies.
“They will never mess with our mandate. Der fathers”
