Suspected Bandits Attack Amotekun Operatives In Oyo
Editor Nigeria reports that Suspected bandits have attacked Amotekun operatives and their vigilante counterparts on Ofiki Road, Aba Agudugu in Atisbo Local Government Oyo State.
The incident occurred when Amotekun operatives and the vigilance group members were trying to settle a dispute between the Fulani and the Yoruba at Abagugudu market.
It was gathered that one of the Fulani allegedly attacked the two Amotekun operatives with a machete.
Our source said the Amotekun operatives, Oguntade Michael and Tijani Yekini and the injured vigilance group members are receiving treatment in a hospital at Atisbo.
“The matter has been reported to the police for investigation,†the source added.
