President Muhammadu Buhari has received the second dose of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. The Editor reports.
The Presidentâ€™s Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmed made this known in a post via his Twitter account on Saturday.
According to the tweet, the vaccination took place on Saturday at the presidential villa, Abuja.
â€œToday, President @MBuhari received the second dose of the AstraZeneca/Oxford COVIDâ€“19 Vaccine, in his official residence, at the State House, Abuja.
â€œThe vaccine is safe and effective,â€ he wrote.
Recall that in March, Buhari had received the first dose of the vaccine alongside Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo.
