Motor Park Leader Speaks On ‘Makinde’s Order To Kill Ex-Reps Leader
The Chairman of Oyo State Motor Parks Disciplinary Committee, Mr. Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Auxiliary, denied allegations that he is attempting to assassinate a former House of Representatives Majority Leader, identified as Alhaja Mulikat Adeola-Akande, on the instruction of Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State.
Mukaila denied the allegations on Tuesday while speaking with journalists at a news conference in Ibadan.
It was learnt that his accuser, Alhaja Mulikat Adeola had last week, alleged that Mukaila was after her life on the instructions of the Governor.
She claimed that was why she asked the government to provide her with more security.
However, reacting to the allegation, Makaila said that he could not even identify the former majority leader who accused him.
He urged politicians to desist from destroying his integrity and hard earned name over issues he knew nothing about.
He said, “It amazes me. I have never met her before. She is not a driver like me and I am not a politician. Why must I run after her life? I don’t know anything about it at all.â€
“We cannot identify each other even when we see. I don’t know her house and I am sure she doesn’t know my house also.â€
“Governor Makinde didn’t ask me to involve in politics or to attack anyone for him, but to work with commercial drivers.â€
“I don’t know Alhaja Adeola-Akande and I cannot involve myself in the politics of Oyo State. I urge her to find those behind her ordeal, †he said.
