Mark Zuckerberg Restores Donald Trump’s Facebook And Instagram Acounts

Mark Zuckerberg owned social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram, has restored the official pages of president Donald Trump, which were disabled on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 theeditorng.com reports.
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced on January 7, the day after the storming of the Capitol, that Trump’s accounts will be suspended in order to facilitate a peaceful transition of power.
Mark Zuckerberg’s statement read: “We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great.
Therefore, we are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete.â€
The last post on Trump’s Instagram page is a call for his supporters to gather in Washington DC for “the Save America March†on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.
The last posts on his Facebook account call on his supporters to remain peaceful and respect law enforcement personnel.
Earlier, Twitter, suspended the president’s personal account, and others associated directly with him, permanently “due to the risk of further incitement of violence.â€
