Legendary Gospel Singer, Duranice Pace Is Dead

It has been reported dead of legendary American gospel singer and evangelist, Duranice Pace.

The 62-year-old energetic singer who was part of the gospel group the “Anointed Pace Sisters” reportedly passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Duranice was reported to have spent some days in the hospital. Though the family did not disclose why she was hospitalized.

Confirming the singer’s demise, Media personality, Shiba Russell took to her Twitter handle and wrote: “RIH Gospel legend Duranice Pace. I just confirmed the news of her passing with one of her sisters. I last spoke to my dear friend, my sister, on Dec 15 from her hospital bed. She was in great spirits. So very upset now. Will write something more thoughtful later.”

Pace, born in Atlanta, was the eldest sister of the gospel group, also known as the Anointed Pace Sisters. In addition to her, the group was made up of Phyllis Pace, June Pace-Martin, Melonda Pace, Dejuaii Pace, Leslie Pace, Latrice Pace, Lydia Pace and recurring member LaShun Pace, who had a solo gospel career.
