Ifeanyi: Police speaks on unravelling circumstances behind Davido’s son’s death 

The Lagos State Police Command has said that unravelling the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of Nigerian singer, David also known as Davido, will be tough.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman of the Command gave the update in a tweet.

He wrote: “It can be tough having to confirm certain incidents. My heart goes out to @davido and @thechefchi at this difficult period. May God grant them the much-needed strength to bear the loss.”

Three-year-old Ifeanyi reportedly drowned in a pool at the singer’s Banana Island residence on Monday, October 31, 2022.

It was reported that the nanny was with the toddler when the cook came to join them.

The nanny claimed to have moved away to receive a call leaving the child with the cook who also insisted that he left the boy in the care of the nanny.

The child’s body was later found in the pool by a security guard 20 minutes later.
