#ESN Operatives are Hoodlums and We’ll Treat Them as Murderers – Gov. Uzodimma

The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has described the operatives of Eastern Security Network (ESN) as hoodlums terrorising the state, Theeditorngr.com reports.
The governor stated this while reacting to the Air Strikes and joint (Police/military) operation in Orlu in Search of the ESN in the state.
The government also confirmed that it nvited the military to “flush out†members of the Eastern Security Network an offshoot of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Orlu and Orsu.
Speaking in Owerri, Friday, through the Imo state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Cyprian Akaolisa, Gov Hope Uzodimma said that the Eastern Security Network operatives were hoodlums and would be treated as murderers by the state government.
According to him, the leader of IPOB Nnamdi Kanu was endangering the people of the state by the activities of ESN in Orlu.
The Nigerian military on Thursday carried out air operations on camps believed to have been occupied by the Eastern Security Network (ESN) in Imo State.
The operations sent residents of Orlu and Orsu local government areas of Imo State scampering for safety.
He commended President Muhammadu Buhari administration for deploying troops in the area to secure the inhabitants.
Akaolisa also accused the lawmaker representing Imo West in the Senate, Rochas Okorocha, of allegedly playing politics with the crisis.
