BREAKING: President Tinubu Signs 2023 Supplementary Budget Into Law

President Bola Tinubu has signed the N2.17 trillion 2023 Supplementary Budget into law.
Tinubu assented to the Supplementary Budget at his office in the Presidential Villa Abuja, on Wednesday, in the presence of Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.
Others who witnessed the signing formalities include Senate Leader, Sen Opeyemi Bamidele; Chairman Senate Committee on Finance, Sen Olamilakan Adeola; Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Abubakar Kabir Abubakar; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu and Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service, Zachs Adedeji.
The Supplementary Budget is expected to augment expenditures in the 2023 budget signed by immediate past President, Muhammadu Buhari.
