Popular Nigerian journalist is dead.

The Publisher of Ebony Mediagist, Qudus Adewole, is dead.

The Editor Nigeria reports that the news of Adewole’s death was announced by the Chairman of Lagos Island local government, Tijani Adetoyese Olusi.

It is not yet clear the cause of Adewole’s death. But this newspaper learned that he died on Friday.

“Inna lilahi wa innali rajiun. With a heavy heart and total submission to the will of Allah, I commiserate with the entire Adewole family on the sudden demise of our brother and friend Mr. Qudus Adewole, (Ebony Media Gist) who passed away today Friday, 1st of April, 2022.

“I pray Allah forgives his shortcomings, expand his grave and grant him Aljannah as his final abode.

“May Allah be with the family and friends he left behind and give us all the fortitude to bear his irreplaceable loss,” Olusi wrote on his official Facebook page.

An indigene of Ilorin, Kwara State, the deceased attended Lagos State Polytechnic where he studied Banking and Finance. He however cut his teeth in the media sector.
