Arraignment Of Fmr Aviation Minister Senator Stella Oduah Stalled

The arraignment of a former minister of aviation Senator Stella Oduah by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for alleged financial impropriety has again been stalled.

The judge had fixed 19th February for the arraignment, but the prosecutor was yet to serve the minister with the court processes.

At the resumed sitting, the prosecutor, Hassan Liman told the court that the commission has been unable to serve the charges on the 5th and 6th defendants who are corporate bodies.

Following the application for adjournment by the prosecutor justice Inyang Ekwo fixed 19th April 2021 for arraignment.

The court has temporarily adjourned sitting to reconvene shortly to consider the bail application of Accused counsel.
